FAQs

Please read our FAQs page to find out more.

Why choose a pyramid skylight over a flat or domed skylight?

The pyramid form naturally sheds water and debris, making it well suited to low-pitch roofs.
It also delivers more even light distribution than flat glazing, helping reduce glare and shadowing in larger internal spaces.

Is the Pyramid Skylight suitable for large commercial buildings?

Yes. Pyramid Skylights are commonly specified for shopping centres, hospitals, hotels, and large commercial roofs where durability, consistent daylight, and low maintenance are priorities.

They are particularly effective when installed in multiples across wide roof areas.

How does the pyramid shape affect light quality?

The angled faces of the pyramid diffuse incoming light, reducing harsh direct sunlight and spreading daylight more evenly across the space below.
This makes Pyramid Skylights well suited to areas where uniform ambient light is preferred over focused daylight.

Why are Pyramid Skylights commonly installed in multiples?

Pyramid Skylights are often installed in repeated layouts to deliver even daylight coverage across large roof areas.

This approach reduces contrast and shadowing compared to relying on a small number of large openings, improving visual comfort in wide, open spaces.

When is a Pyramid Skylight the right choice?

A Pyramid Skylight is typically the right solution when:

- The roof area is large
- Even, diffused daylight is preferred
- Long-term durability is prioritised
- The building is commercial or public-use
- Multiple skylights are required across the roof
