Custom Skylight Flashings are used to install Velux Flat Roof Skylights when the roof pitch is below 5°. Velux Flat Roof Skylights won’t leak below 5°, however Velux recommends they are pitched with a slight pitch to prevent condensation build up and water ponding. Velux Flat Roof Skylights do not come with any flashings so a custom flashing is needed so it can be installed.

Skyspan Custom Skylight Flashings are used to install Velux Flat Roof Skylights onto Tile, Corrugated, Metaldeck and Concrete Roofs. Included with the Flashing is a Timber hob for the FCM to be mounted to and the plasterboard shaft to be fixed to.

Skyspan manufactures custom flashings to suit roof pitches from 0° through to 90°, including:

- Flat roofs (0–5°) using pitch adaptors

- Standard pitched roofs (15°+)

Where Velux minimum pitch requirements apply, Skyspan flashings are engineered to raise the skylight to the correct effective pitch, preventing water ponding, condensation issues, and warranty problems.
